Once all positions in a swap are accepted, the NKR will commence crossmatching and donor record review. Donor Clearance refers to the donor record review, where you will have to clear the donor to donate to your patient by marking the donor as “Donor Cleared & XM Acceptable” within the evaluate match page. This means you have reviewed the donor records, XM, etc.
